A podcast dedicated to sharing the highs, lows, and everything in between that comes along with thru-hiking.
Every other week (ish), a select few hikers from the AT, PCT, and CDT, gave us a glimpse into the nitty gritty of life on the trail- their emotional state, their gear, their appetite, their community, their bowel movements, their struggles, their joys, and how the journey has reshaped their lives.
We might be part-time adventurers but returning guest Sara Dhooma isn't. For the last few years, she has been trekking around the world. We catch up about her latest adventures including missiles in Israel and epic weather on the Continental Divide Trail. If you are looking for some inspiring stories and trip ideas then give it a listen.
In this episode we are joined by special guest, Sara Dhooma. She was a part-time adventurer for most of her life but a serious health issue a few years ago had her take the leap and hit the road full time. From thru hikes to Camino treks, Sara is seeing the world on foot. Join us as we delve deep into Sara’s story of how she makes her adventures happen, her upcoming plans and find out how she is able to get through the tough times.
Sara is our first three time guest. She has been trekking all over the world for the last number of years but since she was back in town due to the lock down it was a perfect time to catch up on her adventures. We talk about about everything from her adventures on the El Camino, getting accosted in Spain and the Spanish justice system sending her perpetrator to jail, to Patagonia, Antarctica and heck... even catching COVID-19. If you want to live vicariously through someone who approaches life fearlessly then give a listen.
